So I am in Baltimore, and Maggies are here, too! It awesome having her here meeting my friends and family. She seems to be getting along well with everyone, and I’m super thrilled she came up for the holidays.
The trip here was eventful. One of my tires had a blow out on the highway to Savannah, so I had to delay the trip by 1/2 a day. That meant driving about 13 or 14 hours in a day. I know my old roommates have done this and worse, but they are idiots and I, a delicate flower. Not having to load a queen-sized bed before and after the trip made the whole ordeal a lot easier to manage, as did hourly breaks to pee and window shop for truck-stop merch. I don’t want to alarm anyone, but apparently the south is going to rise again?
The Wii is the radness. I can’t wait to post pictures of some of the dumb Mii people I’ve been making. I suck (can’t put on any spin) at bowling, but I violently mauled all takers in a brutal display of boxing magic. I dropped my poor mother in the first round with a quick series of murderous combos to the face.
In other cool news, I’ve got a little trophy in the mail for one of my cartoons. I’ll talk about that more in a month.

Had a blast meeting Maggie’s family last weekend in Denver and Vail. Everyone was really welcoming. It would have been nice to stay longer since our itinerary was very busy, and I even got Christmas presents. I’m really looking forward to her meeting my friends and family in Baltimore next week.
Oh, I’ll be in Baltimore for probably two weeks or so starting sometime next week. I’ll also be in Savannah for both a day before and after this trip.

Yesterday was my birthday. In fact, it was my first away from Baltimore. It was a little lonely, but my mom sent pizza to the studio and today Jeff sent me (and Radical since I shared it) a gigantic cookie.
Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. The rest of you were probably too busy emptying your bank accounts buying me gifts to call or write. Probably off pawning your cell phones and computers to buy more stuff for me. Very sweet of you.
This weekend will be the actual birthday celebration of sorts when Maggie comes up and we go to the puppet museum or whatever the heck I come up with. This time of the year sort of sucks for things to do unless you have a real hard-on for Christmas music and movies. I don’t dislike Christmas, but I get enough ‘holiday spirit’ to fill my quota when I go shopping.
Still can’t find a Wii. Very sad.

I can’t find a Wii. Short of spending too much on eBay or camping out, it is practically impossible.
Very sad.
