I signed up for comcast internet (w/o tv cable) when I got this apartment through a 29.95 6-month deal. Turns out they didn’t apply the discount to my account.

I realized that today, and called them up to sort it all out.

The short version is that comcast is a pain in the ass, and their customer service (while polite) didn’t seem to want to do anything that could actually (god forbid) help me.

I’m calling and talking directly to a manager tomorrow, but I seriously doubt that’s going to result in anything more than me drawing pictures of comcast employees being eaten or sexually molested by bears. I wish there was a better ISP solution in town, but it looks like I’ll be getting DSL at my new apartment… and fuck cable TV.

Duncan is actually my favorite character.

I worked a 60+ hour week last week, and this week isn’t shaping up much better.

I unofficially signed an extended two month lease today.

My brain is mush right now. Hence the sort of single statements above. I really wish I could talk about more stuff, but my life is all work right now. That’s not entirely true. I met someone pretty rad recently.

I’m sure she’ll love being called “pretty rad” on my blog.
