Work update
… I get to sleep in tomorrow if you know what I mean.

My Savannah pay-the-bills job made me angry today. Very angry. If you don’t know me, I pretty much don’t get angry. There was an exception last month, but besides that I go years without being angry. Grrr. Arrgh.
I won’t go into why. It wasn’t so much today as today was just one more thing. Tomorrow is an other day. That said, I may be checking the classifieds the day after tomorrow.
When it rains, it pours. I’m not letting all this crap in my life keep me down, and I refuse to go back to the mental state I was in a little over a month ago no matter how many babies I have to punch in their soft mooshy pre-formed skulls… I mean no matter how hard I have to try. TRY. Ignore that baby punching thing and any stories about mysterious baby assaults you read in the paper in the next few weeks or last few years for that matter.

Oops… I thought the third cartoon was going to be really short… I’m not done and it is nearly as long as “Dinosaurs in the Bible”. This thing doesn’t feature an awkward elevator sequence either, AND I’ve already cut out a few lines of dialog to shorten it. Crap. It’s really only a small problem because there are so many sequences where I’m going to have to add little visual elements to keep the thing moving. I wrote some hilarious crap, but there’s too much talking for this style of animation.
What a horrible problem to have. There’s “too much funny crap” to fit in. Oh noes.
I’m sitting in a coffee shop listening to a photo major discuss the spirituality of her work. Guk. I’m a fan of discovering the meaning after the production. Anything else seems to create hilarious ham-fisted artwank bullshit. Blibbidy blah. Now I’m art wanking. I have to go home and get ready for pot lucks.
